Physicial Products to Remind You of the Invisible War

One of the main tactics of the enemy is distractions. Don’t think Satan doesn’t know that “the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things” (Mark 4:19) are effective for capturing the attention of men. We must use any and all means available to war against our flesh, and there is no greater weapon than the Word of God.

I wanted something for both myself and my children to help us focus on what matters, something physical to refocus our attention, to set my mind on things above. Surely, I thought, now being a couple of decades into Ecommerce, someone has created a niche of scripture driven gear. Yet the majority of what I found online was not really deep, and most of it not really biblical.

Finding Christianish sayings on a T-shirt or coffee mug is not hard: "Faith over Fear", "Blessed", "Blessed this", "blessed that", "too blessed to be stressed".

But generic christian slogans are not effective enough for this soldier. I am in need of the very Word of God itself. I don’t just need encouragement and affirmations, I need to be reminded of the specific and extreme demands of scripture that I agreed to obey when I enlisted in His army.

Our designs all fit in one of two categories, both taken from Matthew 28:19-20. The core of the message of the product must be designed to assist in Evangelism (Go therefore and make disciples of all nations), or must assist in “teaching them to observe all I have commanded you”, what some would label as discipleship. The majority of our products are scripture, with a handful of others being bold or “tongue in cheek” statements designed to make people stop and think.

We also will not publish any scripture that is commonly taken out of context and misapplied. Of course we love all scripture, but if you really want a Jeremiah 29:11 or a Phillipians 4:13 t-shirt, you will not have a hard time finding one. We realize this sounds critical, but you can read a more in depth argument of our conviction against creating products that contribute to theological misunderstandings here:
